Floor Jansen nasceu em uma pequena aldeia na Holanda, em 1981. A música se tornou sua paixão depois de participar de um musical no ensino médio. Ela também descobriu o violão de seu pai, que lhe ensinou alguns acordes e, assim, Floor começou a escrever canções simples. Tocar guitarra nunca foi sua paixão, o mesmo aconteceu quando ela aprendeu a tocar piano, anos depois. Escrever e cantar ainda são as paixões de Floor. Ela começou jovem. Lançou seu primeiro álbum com sua banda After Forever quando tinha apenas 18 anos. Muitos álbuns se seguiram, muitos shows e turnês. Ela estudou música e canto durante seis anos e então se tornou professora. A atual vocalista da banda ReVamp já se juntou a muitos grandes artistas no palco, bem como em gravações de seus álbuns. Segundo a cantora, o amor pela música, pela natureza, pela arte, por livros e bons vinhos e uísques tornam sua vida muito completa.
Floor Jansen was born in a small village in The Netherlands in 1981. Music became her passion after a high school musical. She also discovered her father’s guitar. He taught her some chords and she started writing simple songs. Playing guitar was never her thing though, same with the piano she learned how to play years later. Writing and singing is Floor’s passion still. She started young, released her debut album with her band After Forever when she was only 18 years old. Many albums followed, many shows and tours. She studied music and vocals for 6 years and started teaching. The current Revamp‘s frontwoman joined many great artists on stage and on their albums as well. Next to music the love for nature, arts, books and good wines and whiskeys made Floor’s life a very complete one.
